Nottingham Ale Trail Banner

An entire month dedicated to the celebration of cask ale in Nottingham.

There is a huge amount of love on both sides of the bar for cask ale. With over 40 breweries in Nottinghamshire and nearly 50 pubs serving cask ale in the city centre, it remains central to Nottingham’s pub scene. This is what inspired us to bring you the 2019 Nottingham Ale Trails.

The Nottingham Ale Trails were a month long celebration of local pubs, breweries and cask ale. The trails took place from the 19th April to the 19th May. There were 6 themed ale trails to complete, with collectable pin badges available for completed trails, as well as a commemorative T-shirt for the triumphant souls who completed all 6.

How did it work, we hear you ask? We had 6 themed trails, participants simply had to choose one to follow, buy a half or a pint of cask ale and collect a sticker from the pub at each stop. Once a trail had been completed, participants could take their completed sticker card or map to the Nottingham Tourism Centre to receive a limited edition pin badge for that trail. For those that managed to complete all 6 trails, a free special edition T-shirt was waiting for them at the end of their journey. It was completely free to take part and claim prizes.

We already can't wait to begin planning next year! See you there?
