Free Spooky Activities For All The Family This Halloween

The It's in Nottingham Halloween Trail is back!

On October 31st you are invited to discover more of Nottingham City Centre with your family for FREE! Trick or Treat your way around our fun map to hunt out our hidden spooky characters and take part in craft activities, ghost stories and games. Over 70 businesses are taking part and hosting a range of free activities.

Taking part:

To take part in the Halloween Trail, all you'll need is a handy Trail Map and a Trick or Treat bag. Families can collect their map from participating stores starting from 1st October (see the full list below!) or view it online HERE. On the day free treat bags will be handed out for you to fill with goodies as you make your way around the trail. Head to Trinity Square at 10am OR 12pm to collect a treat bag before beginning your epic day of family fun in the city.

Once you have a TRAIL MAP and treat bag you can tailor your own trail and visit as many stops as you like!

MAC Cosmetics and Belong Gaming Arena will no longer be taking part in The Halloween Trail so be sure to skip these spots to avoid any disappointment. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope you have a great time on the trail!

Ecto-1 at Trinity Square:

As part of the It's in Nottingham Halloween Trail the iconic Ecto-1 car from Ghostbusters will be on display at Trinity Square all day long. The 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood hearse ( as seen in the 2016 Ghostbusters film ) is viewable from 10am - 4pm. There will also be real life Ghostbusters for you to meet and grab a very cool photo with!

Molly the Mummy, Frankie Frankenstein, Bob the Blob and Ben the Bat:

Look out for our 4 spooky characters as you make your way around the trail. They'll likely be hiding inside and around participating businesses on the day so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. We hear that Ben the Bat is feeling particularly friendly this year and will be making his way around the city to say hello to passing trick or treaters. Make sure to say hi if you see him! Don't forget to upload all your fang-tastic photographs and tag @ItsInNottingham so we can see how much fun you're having!
